Tundra Remote Door Lock Reprogram

Using the door control pad located on the driver s side door press the lock and unlock buttons for five passes.

With the driver s side door open. Quickly insert and then remove your key from the ignition switch. Insert the ignition key and remove it. Change the position to door make sure all the doors are shut and that your shift lever is set to park put the key in the ignition and turn it so it is set to on once you are in the on position and before 5 seconds has passed push down the door lock switch on the driver s side keeping it down for 5 seconds.

Within 10 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. To program the new toyota key fob hold the unlock and lock button on the key fob for two seconds and then release. Press and hold lock and unlock button for 1 5 seconds. Release the buttons and immediately press and hold the lock button for two seconds.

You should hear a beep letting you know that the procedure was done correctly. Within 3 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. Then press the lock button for up to three seconds and release. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds.

Press and release lock or unlock button. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the new remote simultaneously for 1 1 2 seconds. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remtoe simutaneously for 1 5 seconds. Repeat button procedure to program remaining remote transmitters.

The locks should cycle once to verify that the car has accepted your remote. Within 5 seconds insert the ignition key again and turn it to the on position. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press and hold the lock button by itself. Within three seconds the locks should cycle once to show that it the procedure was successful.

Close and then open the driver s side door. Once your car is in programming mode with the remote you are trying to program press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds then release and press just the lock button for 1 second. Each set represents one pass. If they cycle twice repeat this step again.

Unlock the driver s side door. System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm registration twice to indicate registration has failed. After 10 seconds push the same lock unlock or panic button on the transmitter twice within 10 seconds.
